Brianna Herman-Smith is an accomplished Accounts Manager at Think Rubix & Company, as well as a devoted wife to Lorenzo Smith and mother to Brozen. She found her passion for journalism when she wrote her first article for the Tri-State Defender in 2015 about female violence. With a degree in mass media from Clark Atlanta University, Brianna worked on various film projects, including creating music videos for artists like T-Pain and contributing to the popular show Real Housewives of Atlanta before pursuing her dreams in Los Angeles.
After the unexpected passing of her father, Bernal Smith, who saved Memphis’ storied Black newspaper, Brianna returned to Memphis to carry on the family legacy. She found her niche in journalism, recognizing the opportunity for growth and real impact in the city. Brianna is committed to carrying on her father's work while forging her path in the industry, and she's grateful for the chance to contribute to her community.
