Job Description

The fellow will be responsible for writing compelling and winning proposals. The incumbent will work to accomplish short and long-term tasks that support business growth and scalability initiatives. This position will be part-time remote. To ensure success, you should clearly understand our Firm’s core values, particularly the social innovation framework. The candidate should know Think Rubix intimately and be well equipped to promote Think Rubix. Top candidates will be exemplary writers, have superb business acumen, and have a solid understanding of business development and operations.

Required Skills


  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ more years writing competitive proposal content, preferably within a professional services firm serving business, nonprofits, and governments
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, English or Marketing with an emphasis on technical writing strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently to maintain focus and composure under multiple deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain relationships internally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with a team of consultants with varying stakes, and perspectives.
  • Be proficient with web-based proposal software such as Better Proposals, PandaDoc, Qwilr, etc.
  • Understand the importance of subject matter expertise and how to leverage this knowledge to develop compelling messaging and proposals
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated success in public or government sector
